Selected projects:
State of Missouri Emergency Management Agency. RAM and SEG have
been selected as the State contractor under an IDIQ award for
the provision of statewide emergency management and homeland
security exercise services for the State of Missouri.
Center for Rural Development’s Institute for Preventive
Strategies. RAM is a partner in the development of the Library
of Emergency Response and related web-based instruction.
Center for Community and Public Safety at Penn State University.
RAM is a training and exercise providers to and, in
collaboration with, the CCPS.
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. RAM is the developer of a
unique “Immersive Training Classroom” for the Montgomery County
Fire Academy, Conshohocken, PA, in conjunction with i.d.e.a.s.
at Disney-MGM Studios. The “Immersive Classroom” allows
significant free-play by emergency response agencies to a
significant hazardous materials event with extensive media
interplay and enhancement.
Department of Homeland Security. RAM is a partner with S.R.A.
Inc. in the Department of Homeland Security’s 2006 National
Exercise Program contract. The contract requested task order
fulfillment and provision of training exercises from local to
national level, including TOPOFF 7, if assigned by DHS.
Environmental Protection Agency. RAM is a partner with Weston
Inc. in the EPA Region V, S.A.L.T. contract for 2007 as training
and exercise provider to the prime in response to Region V
training requirements.
Suffolk County, NY Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency
Services. SEG and RAM developed a series of bioterrorism and
chemical terrorism exercises, and a series of pandemic influenza
exercises, which included tabletop (TTX), functional (FE), and
full-scale (FSE) exercises. SEG and RAM designed, executed, and
evaluated a comprehensive series of US Department of Homeland
Security funded HSEEP based exercises, including a three day
field/functional exercise, involving 15 concurrently operating
venues such as the simulation cell (SIMCELL), Suffolk County
emergency operations center (EOC), Public Health department
operations center (DOC), police DOC, six area hospitals, two
pharmaceutical points-of-distribution (PODs), Suffolk County
9-1-1 communications center, Suffolk County Fire/EMS
communications center, and a Joint Information Center (JIC).
The World Bank. RAM and SEG were Senior Exercise developers and
facilitators for a weeklong Pandemic exercise for The World Bank
as part of their Business Continuity training in 2006.
State of Florida. RAM was the subject matter provider and
exercise developer of a State-level Tabletop exercise for
D.S.I., Inc for Florida DEM. The exercise was a terrorist-event
involving critical infrastructure in Florida and included the
Governor and all cabinet-level secretaries.
State of Florida. RAM was the subject matter provider to
i.d.e.a.s. at Disney - MGM Studios for two contracts with
Florida DEM; one for 15 functional and tabletop regional
chemical-biological terrorism exercises, and one for a state
agency-level chemical-biological tabletop exercise for the
Governor’s office.
Department of Homeland Security. RAM was the subject matter
provider in civilian – military interaction and Senior Exercise
Controllers in the Department of Homeland Security’s Operation
Center for a recurring national terrorism exercise.
State of Missouri. RAM was the provider to the State of Missouri
for Courses : WMD Basic Awareness, Hospital Considerations for
WMD – Mass Casualties, B.N.I.C.E. Workshop, Legal Aspects of
Crisis Events, and Exercises: WMD Tabletop – County/local level,
Biological Event Exercise – State level, Reception/Deployment of
the Strategic National Stockpile - State Level, Continuity of
Operations/Continuity of Government - State Level.
Paratus Associates LLC. RAM was the subject matter provider for
a WMD-related teaching product, Basic Awareness Training:
Weapons of Mass Destruction for Paratus Associates LLC. Product
was purchased under contract to Community Research Associates
Inc. for distribution under grant by the Department of Homeland
Security.
State of Tennessee. RAM was the subject matter provider and
developer for the Tennessee Department of Health’s EMT training
products: Heightened Awareness of Biological Agents’ Effects and
Reporting of Syndromic Surveillance, Heightened Awareness to
Incendiary Agents their Effects and Critical Incident Stress
Management, Heightened Awareness to Chemical Agents and
Heightened Awareness for Radiological/Nuclear Events for Paratus
Associates LLC.
State of California. RAM was the exercise evaluator for the
California Specialized Training Institute, California Office of
Emergency Services. Project: BAYEX 2002, a weeklong WMD exercise
involving National Guard WMD - Civil Support Teams (CST) and
local HAZMAT teams in the Oakland Bay area.
State of California. RAM was the exercise developer for the
California Specialized Training Institute, California OES.
Project: WMD Command and Control/Field Exercise – HAZMAT. The
exercise utilized a Salt Lake City Winter Olympics series of
scenarios to train National Guard WMD - Civil Support Teams.
